You can see Lake Huron from the location. We did hear our neighbors at times but this can happen anywhere. Loved the dial soap dispensers at bathroom sink and in shower. Ice machine close to our room and fridge and mini coffee pot in the room. Plentiful and easy to find a place to sit. Breakfast consisted of pancakes, waffles, sausage, cereal. Also room cleaning daily which is hard to find these days.
Plenty of hot water, I mean really hot water for showers with good pressure. We stayed in what I would call the motel part and yes it has some age but the room was so clean and smelled so fresh. Discount tickets are available for purchase for ferry and this kept us from having to stand in line for tickets when we got to the ferry. "I was a little concerned when I read some of the reviews so I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival.
